Sundays are meant for sleeping in, brunching, girl chat and shopping. This Sunday I plan on grabbing brunch at Bubby's in Tribeca for some delicious pancakes, reading the NY Times and thrifting in the village. In addition to my lazy day Sunday, I also plan on checking out Ebay for some great finds to add to my wardrobe. I've had my eye on a Phillip Lim cardigan and a pair of Michael Kors boots for the past week now. Hopefully with the listing ending tonight, I can officially call the goods mine. Be sure to check out AllocationsNYC for your Ebay finds this Sunday. Happy shopping on this Sunday:)

Iris Apfel
"If your hair is done properly and you have good shoes on, you can get away with anything", so are the words of Iris Apfel. Mrs. Apfel is a fashion icon, and being so, has been celebrated by the Met, FIT, and Mac cosmetics. She has and always will be an original by all standards. As the week comes to a close, I wanted to join in the praises of Iris Apfel. Getting ready this Friday night for the night out I put together my outfit Iris Apfel style; with lots of flair, lots of style and lots of jewelry.

Winter Woes No More
I love a good boot. They can really make or break an outfit.
Now a Boot Story: While standing in line in Starbucks a young girl hushed to her friend a comment about a pair of boots I was wearing. Looking down, I noticed her gray, worn sneakers were no match to my Joan & David black booties with a stacked heel. My boots paired with a skinny jean and cable knit sweater just looked smart. Smarter than her sneaks at least. Word to the wise, when in doubt, no matter the occasion, throw on a good boot. I promise, it makes a world of a difference. Check out new boot listings on AllocationsNYC on Ebay.
